We welcome our children graders K-4th grade to join us on Sunday mornings for Children's Church.  The children are dismissed from worship service after our special music each week. We have a great group of volunteers that serve one Sunday a month each month.  Our Children's Church classroom is located upstairs (stairs are located at the end of the main level hallways) and the class is half way down the hallway upstairs. I am sure you will not miss us. During this time the children play games, have a bible lesson and most of the time have a craft related to the lesson.

Our church offers VBS every summer here at the church.  Our dates do vary however we do post those here on our website, social media page and through our church bulletin.  We open our VBS to all ages from preschool to the golden ages.  This is a great time for us all to come together as one. At VBS we spend 5 days learning more about Jesus and growing our relationship with him. through worship, missions, crafts, bible study, snacks and games.  We follow the Lifeway VBS curriculum.

Our Children's dept. does offer many different activities throughout the year.  Some of these events include summer day camp, night camps to Look Up Lodge & CentriKids right here at Gardner-Webb, VBS, Fall festival, back to school bash, Wacky Wednesday and so much more.  The best way to follow these updates are to check out our Pleasant Ridge Kids facebook page, our church website calendar & upcoming events page. 

Our children's dept. dives deeper into learning about Jesus and growing our relationship with him.  We have areas for our preschoolers, K-2 graders, and 3rd-5th graders.  During this time we have taken part in Awana, Team Kid, and God's Big Plan.  Our Wednesday night small groups start at 6:30pm. We go from the end of August to the end of May.
